James M. Everhart, D.D.S., received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Art, from the University of Redlands, Redlands, CA. And his Doctorate Of Dental Surgery, from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1977, where he received the Comprehensive Patient Care Award.

Dr. Everhart's thirty years of experience, many hours of advanced educational training, in general and cosmetic dentistry, has made him well versed in many of the latest dental technologies. Through the use of intra-oral cameras, digital x-rays, and computer imaging, he can immediately show and explain all treatment options to the patient. In addition, new video technology, in the treatment rooms, can educate or entertain the patient before, during, and after their visit.

Dr. Everhart believes in gentle, patient-centered dental care, one patient at a time. He has designed his new state-of- the-art facility to enhance the patient experience, by pampering the patient, making all patients feel comfortable and extra special. His goal is to help patients of all ages have a positive dental experience and achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.

He is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society. Dr.Everhart also serves as a Reserve Sacramento Deputy Sheriff in the Air Squadron.

Dr. Everhart and his wife Sherrie are the parents of two children, Jennifer and Ryan. As a family, they enjoy snow skiing, boating, and traveling. Dr. Everhart's personal interests include aviation, photography and motorcycles. As an active member of his church, he enjoys participating in the choir and drama program. He is proud to be an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow recipient.
